U.S BANK SCAM

Hello has any one else had an e-mail about a U.S. Bank account asking for your details and bank information because it needs updating. I don't know where they are getting there information from but it is not a good source I am regularly getting these e-mails now they are usually worded differently and have a link to put your info in saying that I am at risk of fraud. It does not mention what U.S. bank it is so they are targeting everyone with a bank account in the U.S. When will they ever stop it is just one scam after another.

This is called fishing and is a common fraud tactic. Do not give them any information no matter how authentic it seems. Most banks and major financial related sites now have disclaimers that will tell you if they ever send email requesting information. I dont know of any that ever request information through an email.
