Shopping Channel

Dear all,

I am looking to build a shopping channel, but feel that the website will need more than just a load of products to make it "sticky." I have already thought of adding features such as:

Celebrity profiles;
Jokes of the day etc;
Forum;
Special offers... and so on.

Can any of you possibly add to this list - what would you like to see on a large website? What would your friends/family like to see? Please give me as many ideas as you can...

Two things that would work well for such a site:

Product Reviews (both professional and user-submitted)

Related Articles (product and company news, and stories about topics visitors might be interested in)
