'Mail To' considered outbound link?

I have about 15 'mail to' links on one of my sites and am wondering whether Google counts these as outbound (for purposes of PR) since they don't go to a physical URL.

I use the standard href = "mailto:someone@somedomain.com?subject=mysubject"

As far as I have ever seen, mailto: links are ignored by search engines.

Wow.. never thought about it. I don't think it counts. Not even if you do Text (www.google.com)

Outbound links have nothing to do with PR, it's the inbound ones.

Mailto: has nothing to do with PR either way.
