PR Up Backlinks Up ... rank flat lining ...

After a big scare in Nov with the Florida update, I have diligently read SEO info to get my site back on the search engines.

I managed to get back in the top 20 for most of my keywords by early January. As well since January I have brought my PR up from 5 to 6 and backlinks up from 24 to 319.

BUT ... my search engine rankings are staying the same ... mostly 10 - 20.

Any ideas?? Keywords are cloth diapers, diaper covers, baby shoes, baby gifts, baby clothes.

Frustrated ... I don't know what to try next.

Anchor text rules.

You rank number one for Baby Marketplace.

You rank lower for your targeted keywords.

Guess what most of your anchor text says and you need to change it to, if you can?

Thank you cbp ... this is something that I read in a post about 6 weeks ago on the boards here.

I have since started a new text link campaign to add my keywords to my new links.

It is hard to change the existing links but I am trying to encourage it without making people crazy :)
