Hi,
Im developing a piece of oftware which I believe would be very useful to people startin up in business online (And offline).

It has:

*A trading profit and loss account which could help to reduce accounting fees. Most of it is just fill in the blanks.

*A break even analysis, which shows you how much you need to sell in order to break even.

*A cash flow forecast, which shows you how much profit/loss you can exepect in the future. Would aid you to much better prepare and overdraft for example if you sawthat you would make a loss at a certain part of the year.

*And an advertising success calculator, which shows you how profitable or unprofitable an advertising campaign was.

It's excel based and will include a full user guide.

I'm thinking of selling it for about $37.

What do you think?

Any ideas about what I could add to it?

All comments good and bad are more than welcome.

Could become quite handy for starters, on the other hand, the $37 might scare them off as people have no clue what it is doing. It could be worthwile to offer them a trial first to see how the program works.
Just my two cents...

Hey,
thanks for your input.

I know I haven't given much detail, but what price do you think ould be more reasonable?

Good question. I would create some screenshots of the program to show people what it does and let them try the program first or make an example form where people can change one of the figures. People migt take advantage of the trial and fill out the information they need and eventually not buy the program. I think a price of $19 or $29 would be more appropriate for such a program. Just explain clearly what the benefit of the program is and you should generate a solid sales volume. (As long as you follow all the other rules of online business.
