This does actually have an e-commerce aspect to it, hence the reason I'm asking:
I have a client and by means totally accidental, I have obtained what appears to be his Base24 number. Note: I do resell merchant provider services, but I have never been a merchant provider and as such should have no knowledge of my client's Base24 number (up until two days ago, I never knew Base24 even existed.)
My question is: how would I go about determining if the Base24 number is valid for my client? Does Base24 have a website where this could be looked up, or would, as I suspect, the security implications of such be too sensitive for such information to be determined? In other words, how would I be able to determine if there's a security leak or if it's just a smoke cloud with no flame?
Thanks.
