Hi.
When I post an instant message I get sent back to the index page. Could you not sort it so that it just returns back to the thread that I was viewing?
Also I think I read somewhere that when you have a private message waiting it alerts you with a pop up??
I never get them and tend to forget to check my inbox. Couldn't it just say it on the screen when you log in?
That's all, I think it's an excellent site, just a couple of niggles.
Thanks Guys

Randelld, I am not sure what you are talking about here...
Do you mean posting a reply to a thread or sending someone a private message?
Either way, it should not take you back to Page One.
When sending a private message it takes you to your inbox, or when replying to the thread it gives you the option to return to the thread or to the forum.
You should also get a popup when you have a new instant message as well as an email notification. However, you do have a good suggestion about having an alert on the screen when you log in.
I can't promise anything but we will take that into consideration!

If you have your popups blocked through your firewall or another program, you wont get the PM notification popups.

Hi Brittany.
What I meant was, When I send somebody an private message I get sent back to the index page as opposed to the thread that the person had posted in. It's not the end of the world but I think it'd be better to go back to the topic I was reading rather than having to navigate back to it again.
If It's too much work then don't bother, otherwise I'll expect it done by Monday.
"only kidding"

That's exactly what I mean. I do have a firewall as I expect most of the members do. So maybe a notification on the page would be a better idea.
