Hello,
I recently took a position as webmaster and marketing admin for a quickly growing company who relies almost soley on the leads generated by AdWords.
Well when I came in they were getting about 25+ a day (our site consists of only a form) It's a debt elimination company.
Well since I took over we've been getting MUCH MUCH less leads and it's looking pretty bad for me. The campaigns when I came in were all pretty poor except for one which had 83 keywords. It seemed to be the only campaign or Ad getting any leads whatsoever. I'm now learning it's becuase it's CTR was so high.
Well I deleted a lot of the words that weren't producing and helped out the failing campaigns by adding words to their accounts and upping the CPC. Basically now all three ads are running the same keywords and the leads seem to be better dispearsed but the leads are down by more than half a day.
I know it's a CTR issue so I'm unsure on what to do. Should I delete the ads that have a bad CTR? Should I bare bone strip the ads of words that aren't directly relevant?
Currently if I have a word that's relevant like "Bankruptcy" I will add it as just the word Bankruptcy, [Bankruptcy], and then "Bankruptcy"... Is this a bad practice?
