[color=blue]I have a website focusing primarily on Bangkok, Thailand (http://BangkokAtoZ.com), but it does contain information about other Thailand and East Asian destinations. It is a content site generating no revenue (despite some affiliate links), and is essentially family-oriented, though with the caveat that parents may wish to supervise their children's surfing of the site, as it contains, for example, frank discussions of the sex industry here -- not pornographic discussions, not by any stretch, but still a subject some parents may prefer their children to see.
I specifically do not want links to or from any pornographic, racist, hate, or illegal (anywhere) site. At this time, I am interested only in links that deal with East Asia and that include Thailand as a substantial part of the site. There is one exception to this: if your site specifically targets the Thai market, I will be happy to review it for inclusion. I am especially interested in such sites that either give the visitor the option of viewing the site in the Thai language (and I don't mean by machine translation -- that remains too inaccurate) or is in the Thai language only. (I have a native Thai speaker who reviews such submissions.)
I know this request sounds a bit negative, but I don't mean it to be. I have a link option on my site, but have found that unless I screen it carefully, two things happen, the first the most irritating: (1.) sites utterly and completely unrelated to Thailand or East Asia in even the faintest way whatsoever link despite specific directions to the contrary, and, (2.) the sites, even the ones related to Thailand, almost never get around to reciprocating the link. For that reason, I will be terminating that feature shortly and handling links in e-mails and forums such as this. Don't misunderstand; if your site is, say, devoted to Japan, that's fine -- my site visitors are often Western residents of the region looking for information around the region -- including, by the way, Australia and New Zealand, as well as the Western Pacific islands.
Links can be text, buttons, or banners, with a file size of 15k or less. At this time, I am not linking from my site's home page for the simple reasons that I am redesigning it completely and am thinking about selling space there. I may also add a separate links page for paid advertising, but will retain the free links page as well.
