Domain now beeing sold for $500

An old domain name of mine which I let go because I went from .co.uk to .com (same URL base) is now up for sale by someone for $500.00.

I thought that this type of thing, domain parking, just to try to sell that domain name at a higher price was against the rules of domain name use?
~~~
The new user will have to pay to keep the name every year and this could cost new user some money if not purchased quicky.
Their are services which sell Traffic from old domain names.
What are the rules, laws?
TrafficProducer,
As far as I know, that is how the domain game is played. You let it go, someone buys it and tries to sell if for more. Yes there are lots of places where you can monetize parked domains. Sedo, Afternic, fabulous and lots more.
That's too bad...
I have to say this first... I am not a Lawyer! or
as ermis puts it... IANAL :))
But that is how the game is played... I've been getting flack from some people over some of my domains I have 4 BamMargera names... and a
howard stern domain too... but according to my attorney That's what's great about the web and the good ol' U.S.A. :)
Oh yeah and this comes to mind....
Hi TrafficProducer,
if it can be a consolation I just add
that putting the domain for sale does
not mean it will be sold.
