I'm just wondering what to do with a spam private message I've received. Do I forward it on to a moderator? Do I post it here? What's the procedure?

Yes, you should report it to a moderator, or even one of the admin.
It is tempting to post here, in order to expose the 'scoundrel', but that can get out of hand in a hurry.
We have had a couple of incidences before where there grew a heated debate and much speculation and accusations flying around, only to discover that it was an honest mistake.

But do report it promptly.

Good advice Mik... any member in receipt of spam via PM should report this as soon as possible. We have a strict policy on this at WPW, and we will not tolerate any abuse of these forums.

So please report it to any of the Moderators here at WPW or Site Admin, and we will deal with it accordingly.
