It depends on the bank/issuer.
The ones I have spoken with, told me as long as the products are the same or similar.. there was no problem.
It has to do with the underwriters and the risk .. or something..
Unless it is 'adult membership' type.. Visa likes to know each URL..

The answer is usually yes. You must have the name of the company that it is being billed to on the payment page & on the invoice page. This will help to prevent chargebacks or questions.
We have set up numerous accounts like this. There are some people that will tell you that it has to have its own merchant account. The only issues / problems that you might run into - like Steve mentioned were the types of products / services sold on each website. If you tell Visa / MasterCard you are selling pet products, but you then open up a website for office products - this might cause a problem. If someone calls their CC company to state they purchased a computer from you & it was not what they wanted. Visa looks - sees that you are licensed to sell pet products. This will raise a red flag because since you are selling computers - they will want to know what else you might be selling using your merchant account.

I have three websites using the same Worldpay account(Junior)But the code in the payment buttons all point to the same merchant account. It seems to work okay. My only gripe is that it costs me £10 for payment issued!

You have to be really careful also because the statement that the customer recievs from the bank needs to be recognisable, or they may do a chargeback. Also, like Corey Bryant said if you do sell different products, you run the risk of getting shut down or TMF'd. Which means that you wont be able to process under your business or personal name at all.
