Hi, is it important to submit website to regional directory e.g if the site is of Pakistan then i should submit to Pakistani directory and if i have submit an international website i should submit it to international directory. Thank you

Yes, By submitting in regional directory... you can increase your chances to rank higher in regional SERP.

Yes it is good but it is not necessary.
It is generally most important if one wants to rank well in regional searches.

I don't find this as the norm at all. If the criteria for submission is a reciprocal link, and you don't mind reciprocating, then fine. However, there are thousands of directories out there that don't require reciprocal links for submissions. There is a legacy thread (see below) here at WPW that has hundreds or perhaps a thousand or more directories one can submit to.

NOTE: Since this list was seated a while back, some directories might have changed their submission criteria and some might be dead links. Reading through submission guidelines might be prudent to make sure they meet your needs.

I agreed with you...normally regional based web directories required the reciprocal link..
Where in my post is there any mention of reciprocal links for your agreeing with?
