View Full Version : My account has been suspended and the provider does not respond to any comms

Please help! My domain luena.net has been hosted by a company called Tru networks. All went fine for years until I started having problems with the payments and couldn't get hold of them.
It went on for a while until they suspended it. Now my email has also stopped working (what is worse, without bounce backs or any warning to senders).
The domain itself is in my name, but I don't know how to host it somewhere else without the involvement of Tru as the account is suspended. I really want to sor this ASAP.

One would assume you have called the hosting company by phone to rectify the payment situation? That is, when you say "problems with the payments" means the account is suspended for non-payment, and a payment from you to them is probably all that is needed. Call them and make arrangements

You are correct, lack of payment triggered the suspension. However, over the past few months I have emailed ALL their accounts several times, msn and called at different times. It is as if TRU networks doesn't exist anymore. I haven't being able to speak to anyone about anything, hence my affliction.
I am more than happy to pay anything I owe, if only I heard back from them with info on how much and how to....
But this does not solve my issue, how do I recover my email without them?

Just called their 888 number and got voice mail. At this point, I think you just need to keep attempting to reach them.

With your account being suspended, it means email and web requests are probably bouncing. Any email in the account prior to suspension, however few that may be, could still be there if the account is just "suspended". If, however, they have purged the web and email space, you are prolly SOL.
What happens when you call? Do you have to leave a message? Can you get anyone live on the phone?

They subscribe to the WebHostingStuff Code of Ethics - http://www.webhostingstuff.com/verified/TRUNetworks.html. Start a dispute there and see what happens.

Does it mean unless I manage to get them up lift the suspension There is nothing else I can do to sort my account? Given the many months I have been trying to get it sorted it would be fair to say it is then lost.
The emails sent to my account don't bounce, they simply remain as if ignored - no error messages are sent to the sender, which is deeply worrying.
I still can't believe I am bound to those cowboys and there is nothing that can be done....No mediator organization that could help me. Yes I owe money, but they can't simply dissapear from earth and hold me hostage like this.
