Hey Guys,

Could you give me some feedback on our Logo. A couple of years ago we redesigned our logo and we have had good feedback but I am interested in your opinion. We are a residential and commercial Electrical contractor/Electrician.

This forum does not allow me to post an image or links yet, but the Logo is on our website trimelectric dot com.

Thanks for your time!

I like it, especially the electricity surrounding the words. However, the actual image looks a little low resolution to me.

That's an artifact of the attachment. A viewing of the actual site itself shows it to be crisp and clear.

Additionally, the colors, fonts and border all blend nicely with those of the site.

how were you able to choose the colors that you used? I may have to think that the "gradient" look is not quite distinguished.

I think the logo color must fit the color of the theme.

Is the logo not visually consistent in all respects with the balance of the page?

You might consider reading what has already been said before posting.

it is good and well designed your logo should be more prominent then the background color ,then it seems to be very nice

Did you look at the site in question?

Does not the logo contrast nicely with the background?

Your logo is fine, as deepsand mentioned it must be viewed on the site itself. I couldn't suggest any improvement. Well done.

The logo is well designed in my opinion. It looks good and the colours fit the site well. I like how it's been incorporated into other aspects of the site as well. I do think it is a bit choppy around the curved edges, which can be fixed by recreating the logo in vector format.

But really nice job on the logo and incorporating it into the site. They both look good :)

I do think it is a bit choppy around the curved edges, ...
Absent its being magnified, said steps, which also appear elsewhere, are unnoticeable to all but the most visually acute viewer.

That is true. It could just be the designer in me micro analyzing everything about it lol

Or, your eye/monitor combination makes it more prominent to you, just like my ears are more sensitive than most to musical tones that are in/out of tune with others.

No matter how far you may fly, never forget where you come from.
Nice, but has nothing to do with the post.

Re: the logo, I like it and it fit's in well with the site design and theme. One suggestion, IMO, might be to make a little more room at the top of the page and up-size the logo another 20-25%. Even the logo in the video is bigger in size.

The flashing emergency graphic, even though I get why it is flashing, makes me want to scroll down so it's not in my browser viewing area.

I like the logo. However, you should run some split test on your website design and see if toning it down a bit doesn't improve your conversion.

I think the logo clashes with his current design and feel like he should run some split test to see if that is the case.

Is that a problem?

ahh, I had assumed (incorrectly) that you meant overall page size including elements, which is about 260k :p

Clashes how? What specific change(s) would you suggest?

And, how material to conversion rate?

Let me see if I can do better.

Here are my thoughts along with the design

526

I think that if you were to split test that design against something like this and please keep in mind I threw this together in less than 30 min. so it's rough but I think if you split test a design like this one (but better) you would find that the cleaner design would convert more traffic into sales than the current design.

That’s all I was saying.

We know what A-B testing is.

The questions are:

How does a logo affect conversion rate?
How might this particular logo negatively impact such?
