Did you get rich from AdSense?

Hello everyone,

I plan to put in a testbed site to evaluate the AdSense program along with some SEO tricks, and eventually earn a penny in the process.

My question to veteran AdSense users is: did any of you get rich from running it? I've read most of the other posts in this forum and I'm still puzzled as if this is a good move or just a waste of time. Did you manage to earn more than or around $1000 per month from AdSense alone? I've only just started with AdSense a few days ago, but I do not guarrantee or expect to earn big - just thought I'd give it a go.

As not to break any Google T&C, I rephrase my questions:

1. Have you managed to earn approximately $1000 per month or more? A simple YES or NO would suffice, without exact figures.
2. What is your average unique visitor count/day? I am interested only in the magnitude of this figure, e.g. more than 10,000 or more than 50,000, not an exact amount.

So far I've never encountered a single person claiming he had successfully accomplished point 1 above from AdSense alone. Chances are, if such is possible, the person or persons doing it are amongst WpW members, and with little luck may see this post ;-)
