Hi All,
I'm a little stressed out and desperately need some help.
My sales have dropped 50% and I'm not sure if its the changes I made, Panda update, or all the competitor ads I'm now seeing.
My visitors traffic is still the same so I'm ruling that out, although I do see a big increase in non-usa visitors.
I recoded my sites recently, removing all the html tables for divs and now use a javascript to load in different style sheets based on screen resolution, not sure this was such a good idea.
I noticed in my stats a high bounce rate for Win7 OS visitors and I'm not sure why since I don't have a machine to try it on, although I did manage to quickly try it on a Win7 IE9 machine and didn't see anything.
Can anyone thats running Win7 click the links in my sig and look at a couple of pages and see if the layout is not messed up or there is no javascript warning errors?
If you do test it can you post the os, browser used and screen resolution, that would be great a help.
thanks so much.

Didn't see anything broken.
No Javascript errors.
On the couple of pages I looked at you have this message:
This site uses a pop up shopping cart. Please set your browser or popup blocker to temporarily allow popups if you experience any difficulty ordering.
When I added an item to the cart it was not a popup but went to PayPal. Maybe a put off but I doubt many scroll down enough to see the message.

James, this is the most important part of everything you have said.. Your traffic HAS changed.. you went from converting traffic to non converting traffic.. Raw volume means nothing if the viewers aren't customers.
What does your analytics say about previous months and where those buying visitors were coming from? Where did this new international traffic come from?
As was mentioned above, taking people to paypal directly from the add to cart button may be a HUGE putoff.. Again, what do your analytics say? Are people adding to cart and then leaving? Or simply not adding to cart to begin with?

thanks guys for the help,
What resolution are you using?
the pop up message has always been there. Its the old paypal cart but I had a good ranking so I was reluctant to change it. maybe its time.
I looked at analytics and my USA traffic has dropped 25% this Oct 1-23 compared to last oct 1-23 and down 29% from June 1-23 which is a strong month for sales.
Visitors from Australia increased 91% and for UK 39% in the same period. Trinidad and Tobago up 440%? Canada has increased 9.7% but I've always seen Canadian visitors. Its all the international flags that had caught my eye and made me realize the visitor traffic had changed. I've got to assume this is the Panda updates.
Overall though my USA traffic has increased 20.6% ytd (jan 1 to oct 23) compared to same period last year. Bounce rate stayed the same.
I remember I had posted back in may about Nextag using my domain name in Adword ads
http://www.webproworld.com/webmaster-forum/threads/108821-My-domain-is-being-used-as-Adword-keywords?highlight=nextag
Thinking back to last May when I op'd regarding Nextag I don't recall ever seeing all the Google Walmart, Target, Sears ads for laundry bags I'm seeing now.
Even the dollar store is now appearing above me in the rankings. So my guess is the bigger stores are now advertising for this niche and I've dropped a few positions.

Didn't get popups. When I added things to shopping cart, it sent me straight to Paypal. That was a surprise. You might want to consider changing that. I used Win7 Firefox 7 if that helps.

thanks felix.
I tried it after reading your post. It used to open in a new tab or window but now it doesn't so I commented out the message.
Maybe PayPal changed something. I had couple good days for sales so the bills can be paid now. (lol)

Site appears to load correctly in Win7 for me, and the 'Add to cart' worked ok. I did find the pink on cerise navigation panel on the left really offputting ( I realise that some of your products have vivid and flourescent colours, but I found this quite hard to read). Similar difficulty with the product description text. Intro text on page was fine and looked professional enough, but the pink and green, Comic Sans Serif text under each product I found offputting and somewhat unprofessional - I don't know whether this was introduced as part of the upgrade, or was always part of the page design? Just my 0.02 worth.

thanks murphypj, the color scheme has been that way for few years. the rationale was at the time, was it seemed more women purchased bags, in quantity anyways. Unless its for a business, guys just buy a single bag and its usually a black or silver extra large.
Softer colors seem to work best than louder colors since there are some vivid colors. It used to be a blue theme years back. The comic sans has been there for a long time as well. Maybe it is time to freshen the look a little.
I'm always open to suggestions.

Pages render perfectly in my Win7. Add to cart and View cart links take straight to Paypal instead of any intermediary page as others pointed out. BTW, there is a typo in outofstock.htm.
My browsers: IE 8 (64 bit) and Firefox 3.6.23.

thanks Net, I fixed the typo. These Dell keyboards are horrible. I used have an old IBM keyboard and that was great.
