Remove Google Analytics Code from Wordpress Blog?

I'm thinking about removing GA tracking from a blog. I've been using a plugin that injects the code automatically on new posts, but I don't know if simply removing the plugin will delete whatever code already exists on past posts and pages. What's the best way to completely clean my blog of the GA code?

Suggestion:
View the source code of a page or two to see where the plugin is inserting the code.

Disable the plugin.

View source again to see if it is gone.

If you use caching - you should clear it before viewing the code second time.
