Which one is faster: Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome? What is currently the fastest browser?

Not only are there browsers which are generally faster than the three named, there is no "fastest" browser.
Not only are realized speeds dependent on both the type of test and the test data, they never mirror the usage patterns of any given user, his particular platform, or his connectivity conditions. Furthermore, browser development is in a constant state of flux, so that today's test results are moot come the morrow.
Given that this question simply and merely invites useless posts for count, it is now closed.
