Looking for VPS or possibly cloud hosting for LAMP setup - must allow adult content

I have a client that needs a new host. She was first at namecheap shared, then moved to hostgator VPS, however the hostgator VPS crashes a LOT..

Most companies I've dealt with do not allow adult hosting (at least any that I would recommend)

I've found most of my hosts at webhostingtalk.com. From time to time, I see mention of VPS hosts that allow adult content. I don't remember any off-hand. And then some of them change their rules over time. Hopefully you have a decent budget, $25/month or more.

You could also ask Hostgator move you to another node. Did you try that?

Thanks I will check it out. My client is fed up with HG. So today I went and did whois's on all the major porn sits and got a good list of hosting companies that are running their sites.. so that might be a good start.

I think Hostdime is one that allows such content.
I don't have that klnd of content, so I can't help too much more.
But I know it's discussed at WHT a bit.

Be aware that whois isn't really accurate for showing actual hosts -- only the SWIP.

VPS accounts which are worth your attention can be get from happy-hosting company.
They provide them cheaply on Linux and Windows platforms and they have a discount - CUT20OFF.
