Email to BLOG

Blogger has an option called mail to blog. With this if you send an email to a specific email address it becomes a post on the blog.
The subject is the title ... the body is the content.

So you know any other blogs that have this option available?

Word press Also has email posting. It also has the option of adding [category , xxxxx, ] [tags , xxxxx, ]

I use both Blogger and wordpress email posting - I think email posting it is one of the best idea's ever.

What happens if the email address gets spammed? Does it still go through to the blog? Or does it just go through to a draft area or something?

I've known people who have had their address books spammed. Looks like it has potential to make a real mess. just saying...

I love it. . I can see me changing my whole site over to a system that accepts email updates. (when someone creates an easy to use whole site system.)

It is the fastest method I have come across, for the blogs I am playing with I have 6 "secret" email addresses, and Outlook express finds them instantly. . click 'send' and the emails are gone. . For anyone with a slow connection it is like a miracle from heaven.

I find word press is trickier with email addresses (more fussy). it does not seem to like the '@' so it takes a couple of extra seconds to remove it and make sure the email link stays live.
