Lately, building links to bump up a youtube video in serp has not been promising. Does anybody knows if YT has changed anything?

Are you even reading these before posting? It would appear not as the OP specifically stated rankings in the 'serps' not in youtube itself....

Youtube video not a grow your SERP but increase traffic on your website. IF traffic is increase SERP is automatically increase.
Still haven't learned to not raise the dead, have you? :rolleyes:
