This is the logo I made for my website design company a few motnhs back (company site is currently being redesigned).

The slogan is: Designing the websites of tommorrow

What do you guys think?

A little plain but may well suit the site very well. Shouldn't your slogan be:-

Designing the websites of tommorrow today.

Just a thought.

Hi Chris,

It's a beautiful, simple, strong design ... BUT ... Why is there no mention of Web design, if that's what you do?

If you don't put it there as text or symbolically, we have no way of knowing what the VIO group is. Let me know when you have added this missing piece of info.

I think you should incorporate that sphere from your web page

I don't know about the sphere. It's nice, but I don't think it says "Web Design." What's wrong with text?

I use a sphere (a world globe, of course) in my logo, too. But I also use the words -- loud and clear -- so there's no question about what I do.

I have gained in clientele since I paid for a professional logo redesign. But I made other changes in my Web content and now pay for a little advertising, too.

The logo I posted above is the simpler form of the logo to be used for print and invoices and things like that.

The more..."graphic intensive" version is the flash animated logo found on the current coming soon page ( http://www.viogroup.com/ ).

Hope that explained a few things.

nickc, thanks for the little correction, I'll add that ;).

I do mention the words "Website Design" under the words "Vio Group", it's just that I didn't consider it as part of the main logo itself, I only thought of it as, in this case, the big V.

Thanks for the feedback!

Put that logo V in Vio group. Simple = elegant.
