I am really bothered. My blog: islandvacations.me used to have a global Alexa rank of 553,000 and my SERP for the "island vacations" keyword was no. 12. I was then using the blog and post title design in my permalink. I decided to revise my permalink structure by utilizing the "blog title/blogs/category/post title" design purposely to broaden my search capacity. Unfortunately, I was not aware that I should have installed the WP Link Juice Keeper plug in before doing such permalink structural changes. Presently, I am experiencing a declining alexa of 750,000 (and still sliding) and SERP of 54. What's in store for my blog? Can I recover from such ranking decline? I need your opinion please.

NEVER EVER EVER EVER change your URL structure once it is established without doing a 301 redirect from the old URLs to the new URLs.. You have effectively taken down your old web site and replaced it with a totally new web site and los much of what was making you rank..

Unless you have an amazing reason for the change, change it back.. How long ago was the change?

It was already more than 2 months ago and I had already made the necessary adjustments on the broken links. If I have to revert to my old permalink structure, I am afraid that I will be facing another disaster.
Thanks for the comments... I agree, I should have known it in advance.
