There is another plugin that gets good reviews created by Yoast (http://yoast.com/wordpress/seo/). It may be what you are looking for.

Can I ask why you're searching for an alternative ? All in one SEO Pack is the most popular, easy to use and effective wordpress plugin for managing Titles, Meta Descriptions and Meta Keywords.

Note that this Yoast plugin is still in beta.

You are correct. I've installed it on a test wordpress install to see how it behaved and seems to work just fine. Granted this wasn't a production site, but it looks to be stable.

The one I use is Platinum SEO by Rajesh - Techblissonline Dot Com. I must still experience if it is good or not.

I use Platinum SEO and it works the best of all the seo plugins tested. Of course, I am not the typical user that wants all the "seo" parts done for me. What I like about Platinum is that the defaults are good, but I can overwrite them on an as-needed basis which allows for complete control over all seo coding elements of my wordpress blogs.

Yoast's plugin is the only one you should use. I wrote a wordpress SEO plugin review (http://jeffsebring.com/yoast-wordpress-seo-plugin-review/) for posts like this. Yoast's plugin does far more than just set titles and descriptions.

I did a nice article and podcast on alternatives for all-in-one seo here Important SEO Plugins (http://www.johnoverall.com/important-seo-plugins-wordpress-plugins-from-a-to-z-episode-31/)

I've used the plugin "All in One SEO park", but never tried Yoast. Will its effects be similar? Can you give me some advice if you use it, thanks.
