Hey everyone--I'm in need of some insight! I own a site that does a very good business. However, I have a feeling that I am either having some hosting or shopping cart issues. I have customers that are able to place orders and then I have some who say that the site "locks up on them" in the check out process. My cart company says it is hosting and vis versa . . . How can I determine if this is a browsers or software issue that I need to fix or if I just happen to land at a very poor hosting company. Thank you for an ideas you can offer!

What exactly do you mean by locking up?
Frozen screen? Any error messages ?

I doubt it's a hosting issue
Most likely browser/script related

Would be a good idea to quiz your visitors that have had this problem... OS, browser version, etc.

I agree, it is very hard for something on the hosting side to be causing a freeze, and is most likely caused by some poor scripting. Do you have any type of customer tracking so that you can analize your customers browsers.
