My latest WebProWorld just arrived. In it, Brittany has the unmitigated gaul to say:

Sorry to disappoint some of you, but Garrett's campaign for President of the Internet was just a joke.

Now don't just that beat all? Of course, this dastardly attempt to unhorse America's favorite write-in candidate has absolutely no chance to work. The joke's on her. Why? ...Because even if Garrett's campaign really does turn out to be a joke, that still makes him more qualified than all the other jokes in the race.

At least we know where Garrett's headed!

LOL Hal! I have to agree with you there...

And what's this talk of fraud? Who ever said I was trying to stop Garrett from becoming President of the Internet?

If you are subscribed to WebProNews (http://www.webpronews.com) then surely you noticed this picture (http://images.ientrymail.com/webpronews/brittany_edpic051304.gif) in today's issue...

Besides, everyone knows I'm really just out to take over the world, not the 'Net ;o)

If you are subscribed to WebProNews then surely you noticed this picture in today's issue...

Can't fool me! It's a fake! ...Done by the same guy who sent me the photo of the Shell station the other day. Three prices on the sign... Regular: Arm-9/10; Super: Leg-9/10; High Test: First-Born-9/10. Ya just can't trust display ads any more....

Besides, everyone knows I'm really just out to take over the world, not the 'Net ;o)

Drats! You've caught me in the act!

I guess I'll have to kill you now.... which is too bad, really, because I was actually starting to like you!

Actually, the Republic of the Web does not have/allow/need/elect presidents. But trying to become one is a good intention that will (unfortunately) lead you towards cracked dialup connections and useless e-propaganda armies :)

You might want to run for the USA 2004 elections. You have my vote. Too bad (?!) I'm not an American, so that it would really count.

There were much publicised canditature of Wenwilder & Brittany for the US of A elections, that never took off. Being an Indian, I too could'nt spare my votes.

As far the General Elections, the world is sweeping all the veterans and bringing in fresh young blood into the system; So, it is nice if the Bright Star Brittany stands for elections, a fair chance of winning majority votes. (She can do no worse than the professional politicians!) http://www.webproworld.com/viewtopic.php?t=13141

Brittany's plain intention, (of ruling the world):

Besides, everyone knows I'm really just out to take over the world, not the 'Net ;o)

You already conquered, M'm! Leave the infested Internet, take over the much maligned, mad mad World. Seeing the fractured verdict from the General Election results from India, anything is possible!

I want to know how many votes I get, I feverishly scoured my emails today for offers, some sort of pork barreling. . . Yet, nothing. Is this a real election? . . I need Fiscal Guidance.

sovidiu,
Namasthe!

Hi tubby, you want fiscal guidance? Haha, politics is now all about Fist & Muscle power one. And if you have money power, then you can buy both. For the real election in the Net industry, may be, it is not a far dream. One day they might force on us this sort of Election. As Brittany now want to Rule the world than the worms infected Internet, I swing my vote in your favour. I reserve my vote for you, Tubby.

In India, stamping on paper is stamped out & Electronic voting machines took over the old gaurds. For guidance, you may contact the Madam, now waiting in the wings to reach the Prime Ministerial job!

(DO they vote via E-mail? - mmm... may be for the Net Netas Nitty elections!)

having noted this "I reserve my vote for you, Tubby." from trsiyengar.

I feel I should Offer some sort of election speech, but I am not a totally honest man, I am biased, I put my own values above all others, in fact I am a littler bit one eyed . . I think I would make a great President,

**mental note** trsiyengar needs higher percentage of traffic. (if elected)

The internet needs a leader, but who among us is qualified? None of us! we all have our own purpose to serve, those with any power have demonstrated the ability to harness it in the form of traffic. where is the traffic sent?

It is time for a 'no hoper' to stand up before you. The unrepresented millions need a leader that understands the mutitudes total uncomprehension.

Vote for me, I have no idea what I am doing. I alone can represent you faithfully.

My opposition is intelligent, knowledgable, informative, Hmmmpphh, is this realy what you are searching for?

(the author denies having written this. on behalf of Tubby's party, VOTE 1 Tubby)

Interestingly enough, in the USA, if you got a group of people, comprising 10% of the electorate, you could swing almost any election if you voted as a group. Especially since less than half the voters who can, do!

Personally, I think Garrett is way too intelligent to settle for being a figurehead....

It seems there is an assumption, that the internet is a Democracy of some kind. What about a dictator, or a King, or a Queen to rule?

Unquote

(the author denies having written this. on behalf of Tubby's party, VOTE 1 Tubby)

For the denial part, of having written his own post, that is the first qualification to be in the presidential chair! Say some thing conveniently; when inconvenienced with your own quote, deny it vehemently.

** mental note ** goes fine! At the first place, I am not contesting for presidential elections. So, your opponent's qualifications does'nt match with me either. Even if I am offered one by Brittany, for the Universal Presidentship! (Goodluck, let her stick to it for ever) No, I am better settled for lesser traffic. Yeh, quality over quantity!!

Mikes querry:
What's vote mean? hayoik.

Six Six Six, [Please don't interchange the vowel ere, wink:) ]ahaha! Mike, You must be aware of the Iron curtain fell long ago. Even the Russians are voting like a democratic nation!

And for the "Anjali Mudra" of sovidiu, here is my profound NAMASKAAR!
