If you trying to access a site that is hosted on the Volusion Ecommerce Platform chances are you will be waiting awhile. Many Volusion hosted sites are down. Others are taking 5 minutes for a page to load. This outage started New Year's Eve afternoon and still continues into the night on New Years Day! Volusion management has not posted on the Volusion forum. The tech support staff on hand does not have an explanation of the cause of the outage or when the outage might be resolved.
Volusion moved hosting from Rackspace to their own data centers starting in 2009. They have been plagued with frequent outages and slow sites since then.
