I've got a dilemma. Just starting my social media push. Here is an overview:

I have 2 target markets (DIY low budget & premium service accounts).
I've got a high ranking DIY website and brand new undeveloped website for my premium consultiing business.
Many of the concepts I'd like to share/comment/blog about serve both markets.
I would hate to send my current/potential premium clients to my DIY website (where they may get lost), but at the same time I'd like to share on the DIY to take advantage of the high PR and it would reach many more people.

Any advice on how to handle this? Do I post the same content on 2 different websites? Spin my content?

Any ideas would be helpful to help me break out of my analysis paralysis mode.

thanks in advance,
Scott

How about having different areas of your blog so the premium can go there and so can the not so premium? Send your premium customers to the premium blog but they could go to the DIY blog and vice versa.

If you have different target audiences then you should develop each message accordingly.

If I understand your case correctly then you should have two very distinct messages about each subject.

If you were in the baking business you could target two very different clients. The first being the DIY market. The second being the retail side.

Take baking muffins;

For the DIY audience give them information on the ingredients, cooking directions, and even recommend the appropriate tools.

For the retail audience you need to explain to them WHY your muffins are better. Superior ingredients? Superior tools? Open late? Open early? Special Sales?

If you think about it from the customer / client stand point this process can be replicated for almost every product or service.
