Virus writers should be strung up by their toes!!!!!

Yes, I think all virus writers should be strung up by their toes and have their fingers removed bit by bit in the most painful manner possible.

I have just spent the last 7 hours recovering from a major virus. Cleaning my disk recovering valuable information, (yes, I do make backups regularly this was a project I had been working on the past couple days though). Plus I had to reinstall my operating system which entails reconfiguring my entire computer and setting up what took me weeks to perfect. The amount of hours I have lost this past week to viruses has cost me a fortune. Earlier in the week the damn things attacked my server and was causing interment connection problems to it. I am just choked.

Well that’s my rant I feel much better now, now I can go and finish my install of stuff. Have a good day all, except virus writers.

I have to say I think you are being very kind to the virus writers.

I am sure if we thought about there are much more painful things that we could do to them .... and they would be every bit deserved. I have a new computer thanks to virus that attacked my very old and small but reliable computer unfortunately I didn't have back ups as I had run out of floppys and didn't have a CD-writer .. don't think it could have handled one in all honesty.

I lost everything including an assignment that was due at the University in 2 days. And unfortunately my professors were not very understanding ... 3 weeks worth of work had to be recreated in 4 days .. thank god for pen and paper notes.

So I am sure that we could think of much more painful ways to deal with these little rodents.

I understand very well the pains you underwent during the crashes. I am told that around 40% of the computers are crashing globally due to sasser n trojan horse virusues in the last one month or less time. And I am not an exception. Since past one week, I am struggling to bring life to my stupid machine.

What ? Virus writers to be hanged? hummm... on the contrary, I heard, they are paid hefty sum by some of the computer sellers & h/w manufacturers, that increases their sales during any virus attach(k)!

Some of the H/D sold in the grey market are of the nature, that it contains pre set virus that will only come to life after a specific period or prefixed timing! I think, nowadays anything is possible in this computer world, as long as the saddistic pleasure seeking persons are there on the earth.

ellar, I wish you get back your order, since the circumstances are beyond anyone's control, and the university understands that the Globally threatened virus is the culprit. If not, then let the virus reach their head N brain!

Well it took me all day and most of last night but my computer is back full force. I lost the contents of the HD though. Fortunately, it was only my operating system HD did not contain any important data. (A lesson I learned a couple years ago when a similar thing happened and I lost very important data, keep all data on a separate drive if possible a separate physical drive not just a separate partition.)What a pain, ok hangings too good for em. Let's just stretch their hands out and remove their fingers one joint at a time. Bitter? Me? Noo!! I only lost two days productivity.

I have to agree, but I think the worst punnishment should be for the ones who write all these email BS viruses that are responsible for me getting 2300 virus messages per day.

Man, this is the real mood and feeling of every computer user, who had the hell of time in reapiring. I am for one to shoot them at sight! These creatures of hell does'nt deserve a life on the Earth.
