Well, as a writer, I am less than impressed.

For example,

If anybody looking to hire writer who can deliver good quality articles within given time span, can contact me." should read:

"Anyone looking to hire a writer who can deliver good, (comma) quality articles within a given time span, (space) can contact me."

You also misused the word 'enumerable.' It should be 'innumerable.'

You capitalize words that should not be capitalized. Of course, the prices are low. You get what you pay for more, right?

"Posting articles directly to your Wordpress/Blogger websites"

Anyone see a potential problem, here?

With the written word, it is the final edit that finishes the work and I suspect that Forum posts regularly miss out on "The Final Edit". With the your name being full_time_writer I expect you need to be meticulous. . I can afford to be more sloppy . . The name Tubby does not conjure up any professional standard at all.

I worked for a newspaper at one time and the editors and staff journalists re wrote every word I ever delivered to them. My memory tells me they never paid me very much either. . . But they always refunded bus and train tickets.

One time they asked me If I could find some photo's to accompany my notes, so I called into the Zoo kiosk on my way past and stole a postcard of an Elephant. . . The Editors shouted "NO! NO! we want you to beg borrow scrounge photos from people you talk to" . .

They thought I was stupid! . . But they paid me for every postcard I ever stole?

MJ - Perhaps the writer has used the correct version, since the online Free Dictionary says; enumerable - that can be counted; "countable sins"; "numerable assets"

So in this case it may be a 'countable sin' to utilise these services.

Since his post would fall into the 'business article' category, and it is approximately 165 words, then you would only be averaging 40c - 50c per error!

However, jokes aside, I also agree that if you are going to use this forum (or any public forum for that matter) to promote your services, especially as a writer, that at the very least you need to be grammatically correct, and because of the international readers we may accept variations in spelling between US English and UK English, or the English that Tubby and myself may use down here in the Antipodes, they still follow the same structural principles. In fact full_time_writer may have some good staff writers, but his promo above will certainly not have endeared his work to anyone in this community.

I personally Like to see writers in this forum. For forum purposes spelling errors and the occasional bending of a words meaning merely ads some colour to the posts.

I know many writers that produce original insightful text that sets my mind wandering into a previously unseen aspect of a topic. Many great writers need an editor to add the final spit and polish. .

Editing a post is very difficult once the allocated time to do so has passed . . .( that would drive me nuts if I were full_time_writer )

My mother was an English professor and I have made my living as a journalist and a free lance writer at different times in my life. I am not saying I don't make errors either in grammar or punctuation, but I am appalled when I do. I am a little less chagrined by typos, but I am fairly vigilant about those, too. I am always grateful to be corrected. I usually edit my posts at least twice to make sure I'm not making a fool of myself.

Perhaps he did mean enumerable, but native English speakers don't use that word colloquially. Innumerable, on the other hand, would be used to say, "our work has appeared in countless (innumerable) publications." That's how I took it. I will await the correction of my perception.

Great posts, all.

I disagree with MJ on one point: 'good quality' is a singular compound adjective. A comma is not needed unless we are to treat good and quality as individual adjectives. On the basis of the five error rule, the promo presented here would be sent back to the writer with a red stroke right through.

As far as handing over one's blog to an unknown group, this is purely asinine to even ask, let alone make a part of one's own service.

In my day job I work for a magazine publisher. One of my pleasures is that, despite using Macs for the layout and design of the publications, final proofing is done with paper galleys and real editor's red pens! :)

And despite the fact we proofread on the screen first, the amount of errors we pick up on the paper galleys is amazing!
