View Full Version : How Can I Get On XBOX Live For Free

As we all know XBOX makes you pay monthly to get onto XBOX Live and play games with other people. As we all also know, the PS3 doesn't.
Does someone know how to hack my XBOX so I can bypass everything and play for free?
Short and simple answer. You can't/shouldn't.
There are hardware/software checks when you login to live and anything that looks modified results in your console being permanently banned from live. They crack down on modified consoles very hard.
The only thing I think you could do is ask friends for their free month passes that come with some games in case they haven't used them, or they are kind enough to let you use their live gamer tag on your xbox.
This is something you really won't want to get into for legal reasons especially since it's only $50 US a year.

This is true. I mean I really don't want to do this and I don't want to get into any kind of trouble including my XBOX being banned. That would bite big time.
I found there are some sites too that offer free codes for a month or two so maybe later I'll check those out.
Plus I should just drop the $50 bucks and forget about it for the year rather than go monthly. I'm so cheap sometimes - even though the $50 does end up being cheaper i the end...

Lol, this sounds like a really bad idea. I wouldn't try to steal from microsoft when they'll be able to find out when you go to update your version of live.

Ya, I was getting desperate, withdrawals if you will. I just purchased Black OPs, my oh my...excellent game...but of course, i'd rather not crack a box. the other day, my disc wouldn't spin...so I searched around on how to open my box cause I heard a thingy bumping around in my box...got to the part where I'd have to break the seal (although I think my warranty is over) and couldn't do it...closed it back up, plugged it in again and it worked!!!
Sony's next on my list...

Haha yeah I hear you. There are a lot of good 360 games, but the system is a piece of junk. I think I read somewhere that it currently has over a 90% defect rate within the first two years.
