Does anyone out there have any tips for online cc processing for a company in Peru?
I'm having trouble locating a company that offers reasonable rates to companies in this part of the world...
Thanks in advance!!

You should try www.graphcard.com
rate is lower than 2checkout
5.4% plus $0.44 cent per transaction
You get 2 merchant accounts in one.
-one to process visa, mastercard, discover, amex etc
-the other to process prepaid payments from 1/3 of internet users without access to credit cards.
I use both paypal and graphcard.
If you are serious about doing business online, you need graphcard merchant account. They even help you with the set up scripts and stuff.
Just my opinion.

Hm, never heard of Graphcard, but the website looks pretty nice. The big question is if they provide a good service as well. I have been in the industry a long time and the fact that I have never heard of them makes me believe that they are no experts in this field.

Hi Carolien,
I have been waiting for a response of 1stworldcardservice for about a month now. They seem like a perfect deal, but I haven't received any information, and have emailed them twice. I hope you will have better luck!

I hate to say this, but when I look at their web site, it doesn't give me much confidence. Always check if their is an address listed on the web site. The fact they did not provide an address always makes me think that I'm doing business with people that I can't trust or have no clue at all what internet business is about. I hope for you that you can trust this company, but I have never heard of them and their web site doesn't tell me anything that makes me want to trust this company.

Yes they've not been around for long.
They have to start somewhere. So far seems like a good deal.
Keep your paypal or whatever, but consider them if you want global coverage.
Somebody in Timbuktu can order from your web site and you need not worry about chargebacks or something like that.
Gives me peace of mind than credit cards.

You don't need to worry about chargebacks? So what happens if a chargeback occurs? I don't know what kind of silly slogan that is but when you get a chargeback, it is your problem and there is no credit card processing company out there who can put this slogan on their website. I am really wondering what they mean by this...I think this is just a catchy phrase to attract ignorant small businesses out there who are looking for a cheap solution.
