How to register with sotware without being rejected for not doing it manually?

Most good submission software is semi-automatic for a reason. Whilst there are tonnes of directories that are all essentially the same, most of them require different form fields, which is why you have to go through each one manually.

Rejections, however, can be for any reason. Some directories specifically don't want seo'd keywords in your website title. The best directories are manually editted, so if you spam, keyword-stuff or be underhanded in anyway, they will spot it and refuse entry.

Also, there are good arguments for not worrying too much about directory submission.

I would suggest you to use manually methods because it can look a little spammy and if Google finds it out you can get banned. Some sites get banned because the webmaster was using SEO Tools witch break the Google's rules. ;)

Why dont you go for semi automatic tools for submissions. They let you do submission manually but when you reaches the forums for entering data it autocompletes their feilds. IMO thats a good way to do submissions manually.

There are good reasons to do it manually, proverbial pain though it may be. I tried automated submissions years ago and in the end, it was clear to me that I wasted my time.

If you have time then go for manual submissions.
If you have money then go for outsourcing.

Hey,automatic submissions are also recognized as spam by many search engines and online directories so why take the risk..

Manual submission to free directories can take time. But I think that can work in your favor. Because the search engine may "see" the gradual increase of backlinks to your site as natural link building.

How would they know it is automated, or semi-automated, as the case may be?

True story: I do a comparison for one of my SEO clients against his competitors and have recently noticed one of their competitors getting a whole lot of links for their websites (including from Google). I have gone through most of them and hes either paying for featured advertsing (whereas he has very deep pockets) or he's paid a lump sum and asked someone to do it on his behalf.

Having said that, the other competitor has obviously opted for automatic submission and Yahoo and Google haven't even considered them!

The point I'm trying to make is automatic submission hasn't been worth it for a long time. Don't even risk it. Manual is a pain in the posterior, but there are better ways to get links.

I would suggest for manual submission and there are lot of free submission sites to promote your content.

Automatic submissions are quite out of date, as I may risk to say directory submission itself is. I prefer link building through guest posts and social bookmarking, which has a greater SEO benefit as well.

Really? Besides the fact this thread has been dormant for the last 9 months, please substantiate both points with facts?

Why are you posting to dead threads? (Note the plural.)

Did you think that the This thread has not had a response in the last two months. Consider starting a new thread. message at the bottom of such threads only applies to others?

Manual submissions is the best, even i do this!
Repeating that which has been repeated countless times, and on a dead thread, serves no purpose.

You may want to stay away from those software that promises to submit to thousands of directories. Manual submissions is always best, you also want to vary your descriptions not have all links the same. That will equal spam on Google the all great god of the internet. :p

It is better to submit website to some good directories manually. Submission to many of directories with software is not a good choice. It will be seen as spam. The key is not how many directories a website is submitted, it is how many good ones it have been submitted to.

As i think manually submission is good in comparison to help of software because in manually u can put in right directories where in software this can't be happen and also manually submission is preferred by Google in compassion to software.
