First failure at trying to SEO!

Was trying to input my meta keywords and description. Found i placed it in the wrong area. Then replaced the copied/original code for template function.php, saved changes then got this message. Of course i cant get into the dashboard now. Can i get some help please?:oops:

this seems to be some error in your root files check all your codes and fix them

Did you keep a copy of the original function.php? If not get a copy and re upload over the one you altered...

Then you can start again.

why were you trying to insert meta information into WP core files anyway?

just install one of the WP seo plugins and leave the php well alone would be my advice ;)

all in one is a solid basic plugin, headspace is far too complex for a beginner IMO.

id go with seo ultimate (http://www.seodesignsolutions.com/wordpress-seo/) if i were you, we have it on virtually all our WP sites now

Sorry to bother you again, Tio, but i have headspace2 installed a fairly new website. Should I, and if how, do I uninstall headspace2? Viva Ibiza!
