Default video streaming

I've got some clips that i want to stream on my site but am having a few problems.

I took the clips from final cut pro4 and compressed them using compressor as MPEG-4 I think for streaming. I then burned them on to CD cos i do all my internet work on PC. I uploaded them to my server and put them ere www.oneillfeedsystems.com/testpage
but when i clicked the files it seemed to download the file first (some don't work)

why are they not streaming

is it hinting or movierefpoint or something that is missing?

help would be great

in order for the files to stream, you need to embed them in a movie player like quicktime or windows media player.

You are just providing links. Most browsers will just try to download the file.

You are only providing links to the files, they are not embedded. In order to stream you have to insert the code into your html that calls the proper player then within that code you can specify which movie file you want to play. Creating a link to the file is not enough in order to stream.

I think you need to compress them as .mov. I could be wrong, but I've never seen a .mp4 that played in a normal video player.

that last link worked!!!

You could adjust your settings for the player to make the player fit to the size of the movie.
