Default Help Stumped

On one of my sites www.wholesalesilver.net I have a log in for users. It is a javascript. I have boxes with username and password. A couple people both using IE6 see the log in box and can put there cursor inside but then can not type. It works fine using IE6 from my computer. I had no clue what to tell them. It is probably simple but I am a bit behind in this area.

First to clear things up a little the login is using java not javascript. They are completely different. The problem may be that the person that is having problems may not have java installed or may have an outdated or corrupt version that is not compatible with the login applet(aka java program) or his security settings may be blocking the applet. Ask him if he has java installed, if he says no then that is probably the problem.

FYI It works from my browser.

Thank you for your response and correcting me. For a long time Java was what I drank in the morning so now I know better. If they don't have Java installed where would they get it. I also believe that the applet would not show up at all if java was not installed. They could just not type in the username and password.

I believe that you are correct, The applet would not show up if java was not installed. You could ask them to update to the most current version of java. That may fix the problem. It can be downloaded at www.javasoft.com. If the update doesn't solve the problem then it may be their security settings for java that are causing problems. Other than what I suggested I cant think of anything else that would cause the problem but I am sure someone else here could offer some additional solutions.
