Default Sorry, I'm a newbie when it comes to CMS

I was just wondering if you guys know of a free CMS that has good usability that wont confuse customers.

Oh, sure, there's a ton of them
Most are in php/MySQL

You'll be blown away by this site, which lists most of them and you'll be able to test-drive them also

Default phpwcms

I am about as non-technical as you can get. Someone else here installed phpwcms and set up the templates and I was good to go. I only know basic html coding, but with this you don't even need that. There is a WYSIWYG editor which makes it easy to enter content and even administering the site "tree" has been easy for me. I think that this solution was free or there was a VERY minimal charge. This isn't a really "fancy" solution, but if you want a clean site without a lot of bells and whistles, I'd recommend.
