Hello all,
I'm trying to hide my affiliate id so I implemented this and I'm having a problem with a few of my links working in ie and firefox. Heres an example: I created a php file with this code inside <?php header("Location: https://esjackpotcity.gameassists.co.uk/esjackpotcity/t3start.asp?sext1=demo&sext2=demo&gameid=zebra&llP age=default.asp?s=affxxxxx"); ?> The link that points to this file is: http://www.enlineajuego.com/slots/fr...-slot-game.php When I open ie and click on this filename, a new window opens blank and just sits there. If I paste the above php url code into the address bar it then works?? It must be a setting within ie but I don't know how to fix it? And of course I can't help but be curious as to how many others this happens to? In firefox, when I click on the same filename, for example: http://www.enlineajuego.com/slots/fr...-slot-game.php it goes to a page where it looks as though it needs an activex control but the download for the control does not initiate? If you can help me figure this out, I would be grateful. thanks |

Further to this issue I discovered that when I removed the tag 'target=_blank' from the link it works. I'm guessing that ie is not passing on the address to the new browser window. I've tried others like target="_top" etc and these work. Its only _blank that doesn't work.
thanks |

You're only trying but not succeeding with this, because your affiliate id is still to be seen in the browsers address bar after clicking on the link.
