On-line resource to test my web servers performance?

Does anyone know of a tool that will similate loading speeds for a particular page?

I'm mostly interested in an off-site resource that will actually test my web servers performance, and similate loading times at different connection speeds.

I would imagine that you can find something on this page, it has listings for over 280, YUP - 280, web testing tools. It is broken up into 12 categories.
Some of them are online AND free, but not all.

and it is excellent. I just tried to go there and got a 404 error, but I've used it in the last couple of days.
Gives breakdown of everything on your page, and pointers to opyimize the speed.


Lastly, this little baby (!) is sweet. It is free download, extracts to a folder and runs without installing, or any overhead on your system.
You can set it to test your pages at any connection speed and load.
