I'm not at all familiar with UML, however it appears that it's too new and not yet popular enough for there to be a browser extension that supports it.

Seems kinda like MS Visio, albeit more tailored to software design.

From what I've seen, most folks are using .jpg or .gif images to display the UML information.

UML has been around for quite a while.

There's a little something called Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) that you may want to know about.

Some people are already Using XML and SVG to Generate Dynamic UML Diagrams.
