greeking apostrophes

I'm using a piece of freeware for a scrolling text window. I'm happy with its functionality except for the fact that apostrophes greek in it. Any suggestions how to overcome this applet demon?

maybe try to use backslash like \' ?

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it on Friday and again this morning, but it doesn't make any difference to the appearance of the apostrophe, which just comes out as a square.

The author of the applet has disappeared from view too.

I guess I'll just have to hunt around or refrain from using apostrophes.
