MS Windows SP2 - security settings

My tech support buddy built a great custom application that includes a calendar that'll post a date into a specific field. The application works fine on computers with SP1 but on machines with SP2, it appears as the infamous red X. I've fiddled with security settings to no avail. Any SP2 gurus out there?

Hello,

I am afraid but there is nothing much you can do in relation to bypass SP2 security settings for your users. Either you will have to get the custom calnder control digitally signed using an authenticode certificate and make it trusted in your browser or you will have to develop the habit of living with SP2 security sessing message.
