Default Simple Spider question for you guys!

Hi
Sorry to ask such a simple question but I'm new to the editing of my website. I've been told that the reason that the spiders don't index all of my pages is because there are not enough internal links - problem is I' don't know how to create the internal links. Do you guys agree with this and if so, would someone be as kind as to describe (in idiots language) how I go about doing this - I would be really very grateful.
Thanks Mandy

Mandy, your links on the left are missing "ALT" tags.

Where it says:
Code:
<a href="client.htm" CLASS="MENULINKS" onMouseOver="turnOn('image6')" onMouseOut="turnOff('image6')">
Replace it with:
Code:
<a href="client.htm" CLASS="MENULINKS" onMouseOver="turnOn('image6')" onMouseOut="turnOff('image6')" alt='Client List'>
That should help, but you need to learn a LOT more before you'll get your site doing well.

Hello LG,

I don't think you have a linking problem. You have 34 pages in Google, and according to your site map that's about the whole site.

Spiders don't follow the links in your drop-down menu, because this is based on Javascript, but that's what your static site map is for.

You seem to have other problems, as Google considers 20 out of the 34 pages as "very similar", which means they are unlinkely to show up in SERPs. I would concentrate on the content, your links are fine.

best regards

Sam
