Send attachment in php form

Dear guys,

I create a script. Using this script people can register them self. When they register i want send them some information, in this conformation email.
I have a PDF file. How can i send this file as attachment in the conformation e-mail. Which code or funtion in PHP allow me to send this file

Using PHP's mail() function you can send a mime encoded message that includes the attachement. I direct you first to the PHP site docs for the mail() function, which has some links to the Zend site and an article that discusses this directly.
