Default changing from html to database site

Hi we started our website www.bodyjewelryshopping.com as a serious business about 6 months ago as a HTML website. Its been great for gaining customers but its now becoming hard to control.
We change our products often when they sell out of stock with new designs and at the moment we are having to manually remove them. Needless to say items get missed and left on the site.

Is it possible to change a site which has been created in html to be database driven site or would we be better to start a fresh with a new design on our second domain www.body--jewelry.com .

hope im in the correct forum for this question as I wasnt sure where to post it.

Yes, you could change your site to be database-driven.
And leave it on the same domain.
Are you thinking about implementing a shopping cart? - that's probably the way to go.

Check out the ecommerce forum to see what carts people are using.

As cyanide mentionned a shopping cart is the way to go forward. It is going to take a large amount of effort on your part, and won't happen overnight, but will be worth the effort.

And if you do implement a shopping cart keep the existing design, you have a great looking site there
