Default Suggested Reading

People often ask me to teach them PHP, Java, or some other language or skill. Fact of the matter is - it's not that easy!

I tend to direct people to the books I learned from (as that is how I have learned all 13 of the programming languages I know). I find learning from books is most beneficial due to the ease of reference, the variety of books on any number of subjects, and the self-paced learning experience.

With the popularity of the Internet, the communication barriers have been broken down and you can quickly and easily communicate and learn from other experts in your desired subject as well.

In keeping with this method of teaching I have started a Suggested Reading List at the GibThis.com Technology Blog. It is incomplete at the moment, but I have already placed most of my top recommendations within that list.

I encourage you all to check out GibThis.com's Suggested Reading List and offer me your suggestions to additions.
