Default security issue

Hope I am in the right place to post this, if not please redirect me to a better fit, thanks

I have a client that wants to have a secure section on their site. This is their plan.
They have some proprietary software that they want on their site. The way they explained they wanted it set up is as follows.
The software is a program that teaches teachers how to teach students. The teachers will have access to it but the owner wants it to be accessible through a username and password. He wants the password to expire daily and be able to have a new one generate each day, either manually by him or statically. The reason for this is so that the teacher will not have access to this software on another day and be able to copy it for his or her own use. He would also like the technology if at all possible to have it set up in a way that it would not be able to be copied by any one.... Does any of this make sense?
If so can you please give me any ideas on how I might accomplish this task?
Thank you very much for your response.

Its possible using php or perl and having the script automatically remove the password from a database every day at a certain time. You can then set up another script to renew a password automatically or use the script to do it manually. Its definitely not going to be a simple process. I would definitely get proficient with setting up a Cron in whatever language you are going to code the script in. You can use a Cron in Perl or PHP.

To protect the script completely, you can use a program like sourceguardian, http://www.sourceguardian.com.
