I'm sure many of you know the answer to this and I thank you for your answer in advance.
Below is an exmple of the robots that recently visited my web site. What do the numbers mean? Some have a (+) and some don't. Thanks extreme1 Unknown robot 0+271 Inktomi Slurp 104+108 Unknown robot 128+9 MSNBot 91+22 Walhello appie 73+38 Googlebot 55+25 AskJeeves 12+8 WISENutbot 7+6 Unknown robot 1+1 Alexa (IA Archiver) 0+1 Netcraft 1 Voila 1 |

The + means a succesfull hit on the robots.txt file.

Thanks for the info. So the number before the +, is that the number of pages indexed by that spider? and the number after the + is the number of hits that spider had on the robots.txt file? If so, why does it have hits on the robots.txt file?
I appreciate the help, just trying to learn how the numbers work. extreme1 |
