Website Designers - Client Admin Area

I wanted to ask fellow website designs how far they have gone to provide a service for there new clients as a well as current clients in regards to an administration area.

I wanted to know if anyone has a system where new clients can login to the client area to view a complete list of all project requirements that are to be developed by the designer (as per contract, or otherwise stated).

I just want to know what options companies are offering new and existing clients as i offer a number of options but was thinking to expand to offer more.

I have a list that I keep in a database of line items by project, then have my clients able to log in using Apache authentication and see the line item list of things I have scheduled to do for them. I also have a time estimate on each and allow them to add notes to each one as well as arrange them as priorities change. It took me about an hour to write the system in Perl, but my clients love it.
